The professional exhibition, as part of the China International Big Data Industry Expo 2025 (Big Data Expo 2025), officially commenced at 9:00 AM on August 27 at the Guiyang International Convention and Exhibition Center. Run until August 30, this year's expo centered on "Internationalization, Specialization, and Industrialization." It brought together 375 Chinese and international enterprises, including Huawei, China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, CEC, CETC, China Southern Power Grid, China Tower, Baidu, and Inspur, to present cutting-edge technologies and application achievements in areas such as digital infrastructure, large AI models, data security, and smart terminals.

A Spectacular Digital Technology Feast in Full Swing

This professional exhibition thoughtfully featured six distinct theme pavilions, each presenting a unique facet of digital innovation, ranging from the Digital Intelligence Leadership Pavilion, showcasing cutting-edge international digital technologies, to the Digital Intelligence Experience Pavilion, designed to create immersive spaces.

Upon entering the Digital Intelligence Leadership Pavilion (W1), visitors were instantly immersed in a futuristic digital space, thanks to the dominant blue and white visual theme. A giant circular screen dynamically displayed "Smart Enterprise" business restructuring framework diagrams, illustrating the application scenarios of large AI models in optimizing enterprise processes.

More than just a showcase for cutting-edge technology, the exhibition also offered a vibrant arena for interactive engagement. At the Huawei and ecosystem partners' booth, two humanoid, five-fingered dexterous hands became the absolute stars. They not only demonstrated precise object manipulation but also engaged on-site visitors in spirited games of "rock-paper-scissors," their swift reactions and fluid movements drawing continuous exclamations of amazement and sustained applause.

"Our humanoid, five-fingered dexterous hand can achieve a maximum fingertip gripping force of 3 kilograms and a repeat positioning accuracy of up to ±0.2 millimeters," remarked Zhou Jin, Key Account Sales Manager at INSPIRE-ROBOTS. "Beyond merely playing games, it finds application in various complex scenarios, including precision assembly in industrial automation, automated testing in biomedical laboratories, automated kitchens, and unmanned retail."

The Digital Intelligence Infrastructure Pavilion (E1) was similarly packed with cutting-edge technology, spotlighting the eight national integrated computing power hub nodes, the computing power network scheduling platform, intelligent computing centers, and 6G technology. Green low-carbon initiatives and industrial ecosystem were also crucial exhibits, encompassing green computing power scheduling solutions such as liquid cooling technology and renewable energy power supply.

Among the most prominent exhibitors was Guizhou Big Data Group. As Guizhou's leading state-owned enterprise in the digital economy, the Group comprehensively demonstrated its full lifecycle data operational service capabilities at this Big Data Expo, focusing on data collection, governance, utilization, and security.

Interactive and Immersive Experiences Powered by Technology

At the China Unicom booth, an interactive zone featuring the "AI Fridge Magnet" and "Smart Apparel" intelligent cultural creative installations drew large crowds, with visitors queuing up for a turn. Participants simply posed for a photo and were instantly transported to a cyber metropolis or an ancient-style town, or could virtually try on traditional Mongolian ethnic costumes with a single click, providing an immersive experience of the innovative fusion between data technology and cultural creative scenarios.

"It's incredibly unique to Guizhou to be able to instantly capture a photo with iconic landmarks such as Jiaxiu Tower and Seven Small Arches Scenic Area in Libo County," remarked Ms. Liu, a devoted fan of the province. She chose a cat graffiti style and, after her on-site experience, exclaimed repeatedly, "The whole process was intelligent and seamless. I never knew technology could be this entertaining, so fresh and wonderfully interactive!"

At the Digital Intelligence Innovation Pavilion (W3), an atmosphere of "speed and passion" instantly ignited the entire venue. A drone football competition arena, equivalent in size to three standard football fields, had been fully constructed, complete with bright blue non-slip mats, high-standard protective netting, and clear demarcation lines, awaiting drone pilots to compete.

"This is the competition venue for the 2025 China Drone Soccer League (Guiyang), featuring three categories: F9AA, F9AB, and F9AC," introduced Zhong Bo, the venue manager. On August 28, the opening day, 38 teams comprising a total of 358 athletes from across the country commenced a three-day intense competition here.

"We've prepared a host of interactive activities for our younger visitors, allowing them to get hands-on with drone operation and assembly, truly discovering the joy of technology," Zhong added. Beyond the drone display area located next to the competition zone, the W3 will also host the F1 Sim Racing China Open 2025 in Guiyang. This innovative sporting event, which combines extreme speed and cutting-edge digital technology, will offer audiences an immersive new experience in tech-driven sports.

In parallel, the Digital Intelligence Experience Pavilion (E3) unveiled an immersive space dedicated to "digital intelligence living." New energy vehicles from brands such as Tesla, BYD, and SAIC Volkswagen, alongside autonomous vehicles, were showcased live. This allowed visitors to experience intelligent NEV mobility solutions, offering a direct connection to a digitally smart future and an intimate encounter with digital intelligence living.

A Global Platform for Premier Launches

"At this Big Data Expo, our company is officially launching the 'Solution for the Anonymized Use of Trusted Spatial Human Image Data'," explained Wu Jun, General Manager of Guizhou Tiandi Weiye Digital Technology Co., Ltd., pointing to a screen at the Guiyang Big Data Exchange booth.

"Without the nurturing ecosystem of Guizhou's big data industry and the impetus provided by platforms like the Big Data Expo, it would have been difficult for us to achieve the leap from an annual output value of less than 2 million yuan to over 50 million yuan," recalled Wu. He recounted that in 2023, Tiandi Weiye's "Traffic Signal Uninterruptible Power Supply Intelligent Emergency System - IETSP" was selected as an outstanding digital scenario at the Big Data Expo. Promoted nationwide through this platform, it eventually became an official product for the Hangzhou Asian Games. Today, the company has gradually transitioned from its original role as a public video security solutions provider to an urban information management and operation service provider covering multiple provinces and cities.

Tiandi Weiye is far from the only company to debut its offerings at the Big Data Expo. According to reports, this year's Expo prominently features enterprises, with global market players actively vying to launch new technologies, exhibit innovative products, and showcase novel solutions, thus establishing itself as a premier platform for groundbreaking achievements. Notably, Guizhou Big Data Group is also set to officially unveil 22 products and cases, including the province's first data development and utilization processing base, an authorized operational platform for public data development and utilization, a City Brain system, and a low-altitude economy platform.

Furthermore, this year's Big Data Expo featured a newly established "Digital Silk Road" supply-demand matching zone, which attracted 25 enterprises from countries including the United States, Zimbabwe, Pakistan, Russia, and Malaysia. These companies presented collaboration opportunities across various sectors such as AI, blockchain, and smart home technology.

From the cutting-edge technologies showcased in the Digital Intelligence Leadership Pavilion (W1) to the immersive lifestyle scenarios in the Digital Intelligence Experience Pavilion (E3); and from the formidable capabilities of large AI models to the exhilarating speed and passion of drone soccer matches, the Big Data Expo 2025 delivered a highly technological and interactive digital feast. It served not only as a premier platform for global cutting-edge technologies but also as a crucial bridge connecting innovation with application, and technology with daily life.
