On August 30, the China International Big Data Industry Expo 2024 came to a successful conclusion. This prestigious event brought together elites from the global big data field and led the trend of global big data development, featuring four highlights.

The international exchange and mutual learning at this expo yielded win-win results, with digital dividends benefiting the world. The event was attended by ambassadors from 10 countries, government officials from 13 countries, leaders from numerous international well-known enterprises, international and regional organizations, trade associations, and educational institutions as well as relevant experts and scholars. Prominent enterprises from various countries showcased their latest achievements in areas such as artificial intelligence, data analysis, edge computing, and the Internet of Things. A total of 21 foreign guests shared their profound insights into big data during various exchange activities,such as "Data Space."

The Big Data Expo brand is becoming increasingly prominent, leading the industry's development trends. A total of 496 distinguished guests from the political, business, academic, research, and media sectors gathered at the event, creating a lively atmosphere. The 25 industry exchange activities presented a series of new ideas and perspectives, with over 10,000 participants. It boasted high audience engagement, interactive participation, and enthusiastic responses. The "Global Communication Action for Big Data Expo 2024" was implemented, attracting 1,350 journalists from 104 media outlets worldwide.

The Big Data Expo is a professional and authoritative showcase of innovative achievements. Covering 60,000 square meters, it featured exhibition areas included artificial intelligence, computing power ecology, data elements x intelligent manufacturing, and data elements x digital transformation. The top 10 leading technology achievements and 57 outstanding ones were selected and released nationwide. Various participating units released 84 industry reports and exemplary case studies in the fields of digital economy and data industry, etc. A series of competitions received warm responses, including the 2024 "Data Elements x" Competition in Guizhou and the "Cool Guiyang Electronic Sports Tournament - Yongjie Wujian National Invitational Tournament" co-hosted by the Big Data Expo and NetEase Games.

The enterprises took the lead at the Big Data Expo, yielding fruitful results through practical cooperation. Huawei, H3C, Southern Power Grid, and Guiyang Big Data Exchange, and others, jointly showcased their offerings in combination with their upstream and downstream partners. More than 3,000 participating enterprises set a new record, sponsoring or hosting over 60% of the total events. A number of well-planned matchmaking conferences were held, including the "Supply-and-Demand Matchmaking Conference for High-Quality Development of Digital Economy," the "Precise Investment Matchmaking Conference for Optoelectronics Industry," and the "Precise Matchmaking Conference for Huawei's Ecosystem Partners." They released 122 scenario demands and 100 big data industry investment promotion projects, with a planned investment of 83 billion yuan, attracting nearly 150 enterprises. A number of projects were signed on the spot.
