On the morning of July 30, the Press Conference for China International Big Data Industry Expo 2024 (Big Data Expo 2024) took place at the Beijing Conference Center. At the press conference, Ma Ningyu, Mayor of the Guiyang Municipal People's Government, outlined the main features of the exhibition section of the Big Data Expo 2024 when addressing questions from the press.
Ma emphasized that the exhibition of the Big Data Expo has always been under the spotlight of the industry, and represents the core and the most significant feature of the event. The exhibition has become a barometer for the forefront of the field. This year, under the auspices of the National Data Administration (NDA), the Big Data Expo is making a fresh appearance with an even stronger focus on international perspectives and national strategies. It accentuates the professionalism and cutting-edge nature of the exhibition, keeping a close eye on new opportunities, hot topics and emerging trends in the industry. The content and presentation style of the exhibition have been elaborately designed to further enhance the experience for professional visitors.
Ma highlighted three main features of this year's exhibition: Firstly, the industrial ecosystem exhibition model is more impressive. The model that emphasizes the "industrial chain ecosystem" is more prominent this year. It leverages leading companies to bring together upstream and downstream companies in the industry chain to present a comprehensive view of the development of the domestic big data industry and innovation chains, creating an exchange and display platform for a wide range of companies. Top companies like Huawei, China Southern Power Grid and China Mobile will be joined by their respective ecosystem partners to exhibit, fully demonstrating the advantages of leading companies in the full industrial chain ecosystem, and offering integrated solutions. For instance, Huawei will team up with over 20 ecosystem partners, including Chinasoft International, iSoftStone, Digital China and Talkweb, to participate in the exhibition.
The second feature is a more focused setup of industry exhibition areas. The expo is closely focused on the frontier and hot topics of the industry within the six major thematic sections: "digital industrialization", "industrial digitization", "data valuation" "digital governance", "new digital infrastructure" and "data security". Several innovative thematic exhibition areas have been established, including computational ecosystem, data elements×intelligent manufacturing, data elements×digital transformation, and AI. Model companies in various segments of the digital economy will display a variety of solutions, creating a more precise platform for professional exchanges among companies and visitors. For example, iFlyTek will showcase its latest technologies, including Xunfei SparkDesk V4.0, AI Virtual Human Interaction Platform and Xunfei Simultaneous Interpretation, to demonstrate the core capabilities of large models and their practical applications in fields such as healthcare, education and urban development.
