On May 29, the "Big Data Expo 2024 Global Communication Initiative" was officially launched. Effective immediately, the initiative will be launched across 19 founding media outlets, and will extensively engage with domestic and overseas media. It will draw global attention to " Big Data Valley Guiyang" and the Big Data Expo.

The initiative was launched by the Big Data Expo Executive Committee along with 19 media outlets, encompassing central, provincial, municipal, commercial and industrial media. Overseas media from countries such as Japan, Spain, Indonesia and Singapore have also jointed this endeavor. They will roll out an array of communication materials, including videos and posters, in a concerted effort across online and offline platforms to disseminate big data information and share the compelling narratives of the Big Data Expo with a broad audience.

The initiative will center on the concept of "global vision, national strategy, industry perspective and corporate standpoint", and follows the principles of "internationalization, marketization, project orientation and specialization". Seizing the opportunity of the 10th anniversary of the Big Data Expo, the initiative aims to achieve full media coverage, expand its international influence, elevate professional engagement and enhance public involvement. This overarching strategy is intended to foster a favorable public opinion atmosphere for the success of the Expo.

Preparations for the Big Data Expo 2024 are now in full swing, with the event tentatively set for late August in Guiyang, Guizhou Province. With an area of approximately 60,000 square meters, the Expo will present the exhibition on the digital economy and data elements, along with concurrent events such as the opening and closing ceremonies, dialogues, achievement release, competitions and distinctive events.
